Belt Vertical Transport (BVT)

AVCO Co. create New Methodology for Artificial Lift called Belt Vertical Transport (BVT), for marginal oil well with production below 10 BPD.

“Direct Installation to Wellbore, NO need for Tubing and No need for sucker rod”

BVT is an artificial oil lifting system which transports oil to the surface by using an oil adherent – water repellent – continuous belt. It replaces traditional pumping with vertical transportation. This innovative technology efficiently replaces traditional subsurface equipment, eliminating down-hole pumps, tubing strings, rod strings, beam pumping unit, or ESP and PCP units.

BVT Working Principle

BVT consist of surface unit and downhole unit.

  • The belt cycles down the well into the oil column and transports the oil vertically to the surface.
  • The subsurface unit is balanced to keep the belt on tension and down in the oil column.
  • The surface unit drives the belt and twist the belt to extract the produced oil.
  • A measurement and pumping unit could also be installed to gather the oil and pump it into your pipeline.
